BEAUTIFUL BELLE CAN COIN IT IN

-

PAM SLY’S unbeaten filly Eileendover will be a strong favourite for the Nickel Coin Mares’ bumper today (5.15).

The four-year-old bypassed Cheltenham to be kept fresh for this but, at better odds, courseand-distance-winner ELLE EST BELLE could prove her match for the in-form Dan (right) and Harry Skelton.

The fiveyear-old impressed on debut, beating Windswept Girl by five and a half lengths at Aintree, before deadheating with Ishkhara Lady in a Cheltenham listed contest in November.

And she showed she had come on for that run when an excellent staying-on third to star bumper duo Sir Gerhard and Kilcruit in the Champion Bumper back at Prestbury Park 22 days ago.

A reproduction of that form could prove good enough today.

We haven’t seen the best of the Denise Foster-trained ABACADABRAS this season but the step up in trip by half a mile could make all the difference in the Betway Aintree Hurdle (3.25).

The seven-year-old fell at the third in the Champion Hurdle won by Honeysuckle last month but, previous to that, was second to the wonder mare in the Irish Champion.

He can outbattle likely favourite Mcfabulous.

GETAWAY TRUMP

is not always the most reliable but he will have his ideal conditions today — 2m on good ground on a flat track — in the Close Brothers Red Rum Handicap Chase (4.40).

He won cosily at Doncaster last time and can go in again.
