Xperience to drive up export business

IT firm to invest £1.5m and hires 16 staff

AN IT company is creating 16 jobs as part of a £1.5million investment to grow exports.

Xperience IT, which is based in Lisburn, Co Antrim, said the expansion plan which will see it offering a new service platform and targeting orders in the Republic and Great Britain constructi­on sector.

Average salaries for the roles stand at around £40,000 a year and Invest NI has offered the company £96,000 toward the roles.

Xperience IT boss Iain O’kane said the company’s goal is to drive business efficiency through best-in-class digital transforma­tion solutions.

He added: “We’ve identified a gap in the market for a management informatio­n tool for the constructi­on industry.

“This will help it to increase efficienci­es, speed up payments and manage purchasing over multiple sites.

“To embrace the opportunit­y to develop this new innovative product, we need to quickly grow our team and Invest NI’S support will help us to achieve this.

“Our new staff will help us to develop the new platform and give us the capacity to secure new contracts with constructi­on companies across GB and ROI, along with promoting our other products and services in these markets.”

Xperience IT currently employs over 90 people in offices in Lisburn, Peterborou­gh and Glasgow. Invest NI’S George Mckinney said the new team is key for the company’s future.

He added: “The competitiv­e salaries are testament to the impact and value the team will have within the company.

“These jobs will contribute £670,000 in additional annual salaries for the Northern Ireland economy. This is a welcome investment,”
