teaches her daughters alcohol measures by asking them to pour “shots” from their bar.

Stay with her, there’s an important life lesson to be learned here...

The presenter gives Ava, 13, and Hero, 10, a jug of water to pour shots and pints for her, as she believes teaching them measures will be valuable when the youngsters start going to parties later in life. Myleene, who says that no topic is off limits with her children, explains: “You remember things that you got the wrong information on, from drugs, to sex to alcohol. “I do this thing with the girls where I put all the glasses from the cocktail cabinet in a row and I give them a jug of water and I say: ‘Pour me a measure.’ “It’s really interesting to see their little faces (we are using water here) just to see how their heads compute that. You don’t want them to be the one at the party that’s like, ‘I’ll take a pint of vodka!’ Hopefully they’ll know that’s about 50,000 shots in that... It’s just to give them information.”

The Dancing on Ice star, 43, also teaches her children the value of money using pasta as a stand-in for real currency.

She said: “I get pasta pieces and I give all the girls their ‘wages’. And then we put the pot in the middle and I say right, here’s the house, let’s do the household budget.”

Explaining to the Made by Mammas podcast, Myleene added: “First up I need the mortgage, water rates, gas... it breaks down how to manage a house.”

So not only are the girls prepared for a bar job later in life, they’ll also be savvy with their salaries – and Mum should get made a nice drink.
