KATIE Price and Carl Woods will each have a matching tattoo by the time they say “I do” at their wedding in Las Vegas.

The couple flew to the States last week and obtained a marriage licence to wed in the Nevada city.

A source close to the couple said they planned to get the tattoos to mark the occasion, which will be Katie’s fourth marriage.

The source said: “They want it to be a romantic gesture to display their love for one another.” The couple were also planning a visit to a machine gun range, and have been to the Grand Canyon.

The source said: “They are making the most of their trip and doing all the usual touristy things.”

The couple obtained a marriage licence in Clark County, Nevada, last week and have a year to wed before it expires. Katie plans to take Woods’ name.

They arrived in Las Vegas the week the US reopened its borders to tourists, but it is not known what visa businesswoman Katie had to enter the country.

In September, magistrates heard Katie had been drinking and taking drugs before she crashed her car near her home in Sussex. The court heard how Katie told police: “I took drugs. I should not be driving. I admit it all.”

If she entered the US under the Esta program, the online application would have asked: “Have you ever violated any law related to possessing, using, or distributing illegal drugs?”

Katie may have secured a work visa before the court case.

But lawyers have said under US laws she would be obliged to report any change in circumstances, such as a court case. Her spokesman did not answer requests about the nature of her visa.
