Duchess is queen of recycling fashion faves
BLACK JACKET Alexander Mcqueen
With the Queen absent, Kate took centre-stage at this year’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph. She opted to wear the military-style jacket she first wore in 2018, teaming it with a pair of Princess Diana’s pearl earrings.

YELLOW DRESS Roksanda Ilincic
William said Kate “looked like a banana” when she wore this bright yellow gown while visiting the Sydney Opera House in 2014. But that clearly didn’t put her off the £950 dress, as she wore it again at Wimbledon two years later. 2015
ANIMAL-PRINT DRESS Hobbs
The duchess wore this outfit during two of her pregnancies. On the first occasion, in 2013, she dressed it up with a black fascinator. The £169 dress sold out within minutes and the brand said it was an “honour” to see her in their product.
THE ever-stylish Duchess of Cambridge sparkled at Thursday’s Royal Variety performance.
But while Kate’s emerald sequinned gown was spectacular, there is one thing it wasn’t – brand new.
Kate, who like many of us, is making more eco-friendly fashion choices, also wore it in Pakistan in 2019.
And she has worn several other outfits before, including her coat for Remembrance Sunday.

PINK TROUSERS M&S
While we all know Kate loves designer clothes, she’s also a big fan of the high street and is often seen in some of our favourite, more affordable brands. The duchess wore her statement pink Marks & Spencer suit three times last year, at public engagements and while sending a video message as part of her 5 Big Questions early years project.
2021 LILAC DRESS Alexander Mcqueen
Kate dug even deeper into her wardrobe when she attended the Earthshot Prize awards ceremony last month. The duchess was a newlywed when she first wore this lilac gown to attend a BAFTA event in LA 10 years ago.

TEAL DRESS
This blue-green dress is a three-time winner. It featured on Kate’s tour of New Zealand in 2014 and on a visit to the Action on Addiction Centre in 2015. Three years later, she also wore it to the BBC to view its work on cyberbullying.

CREAM COAT DRESS Alexander Mcqueen Kate has also recycled outfits for big royal events, including this off-white one. She initially bought it for Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015, then wore it for Trooping the Colour the following year and again, in Belgium, in 2017.
