Maura shows ex what he’s missing on birthday hols

MAURA Higgins showed off what ex Giovanni Pernice is missing as she soaks up some winter sunshine in the Maldives.
The Longford beauty split from the Strictly Come Dancing professional a month ago – but has yet to comment on their break-up.
Instead, Maura jetted to the Maldives on a girls holiday with pals Lucie Donlan and Laura Stanford to celebrate her 31st birthday.
The TV star has left tongues wagging as she shared a series of sizzling bikini snaps from the tropical paradise island. Yesterday she posted a picture of her tanned derriere while holding a bottle of beer and wearing a sun hat, saying: “Thirsty?” Maura yesterday posted a picture of herself in the water showing off her assets beside a jet ski, with the caption “see ya”. Meanwhile, Giovanni has been forced to rubbish rumours he’s secretly dating Made In Chelsea star Verity Bowditch.
It was reported yesterday that the Italian dancer has supposedly had “several secret meetings” with Verity and he is “smitten” with her.
An unnamed source said: “Giovanni has fallen head over heels for Verity.”
But a fed-up Giovanni, 30, took to Instagram yesterday to rubbish the rumours and to “speak the truth”.
The performer added: “It’s news to me that I am dating, didn’t know anything about it lol.
“At the moment as you all know it’s all about dance, dance, dance which is a wonderfulll thing daaaaarling [sic]
“That’s the reality, no drama here,” before signing off with a peace sign emoji and a sly dig at the anonymous source: “The sun is shining.”
Giovanni announced his shock split from Maura in October with a lengthy Instagram story on how “great relationships with great people can come to a natural end”.
Maura has not publicly addressed the split but has deleted all traces of Giovanni from her Instagram after going public in July.
She is also reportedly looking for love on celebrity dating app Raya.
