Concert Hall set to bring house down

-

BOOK your Concert ticket for the Cazoo Oaks.

Aidan O’brien and John Gosden have shared the last eight Epsom fillies’ Classics between them, with the score 5-3 to the Irish champion trainer.

Gosden and his son Thady have the first two in the betting this year in the shape of Emily Upjohn and Nashwa but I reckon O’brien will win his tenth Oaks overall with

CONCERT HALL (4.30).

Her mum Was won this race 10 years ago so she is certainly bred for the job. She also looked in need of this 1m4f distance when storming home to finish third in the Irish 1,000 Guineas.

Have 1pt each-way at

9-1, with several bookies paying out on four places.

The meeting kicks off with the Cazoo Woodcote Stakes for two-year-olds.

The step up to 6f is just what SELF PRAISE (2.00) needs. He found all sorts of trouble on his debut at Doncaster and then did well to finish second from a wide draw at Chester’s May Meeting.

There looks to be loads of early pace in this race and the long straight will also help Hugo Palmer’s youngster. Have 3pts each-way at 10-1, with plenty of bookies paying out on four places.

BOWLAND PARK

(2.35) looks very interesting in the World Pool Handicap.

He won over this course and distance last season before following up at Haydock. Things haven’t gone to plan since but there have been excuses.

I’m expecting much better today with jointtrainers Daniel and Claire Kubler in decent form. Have 1pt each-way at

20-1, with most bookies paying five places and Sky Bet stretching to six.

LORD RAPSCALLION (5.45) is well weighted on last season’s form.

He found plenty of traffic problems when finishing a solid fourth in this race 12 months ago.

His placed efforts in the Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and Newmarket’s Bunbury Cup show what he is capable of, so have 1pt each-way at

18-1, with most bookies paying out on five places.
