It’s Three Men and a Baby!
Two big nights out on the trot can be a risky business after a certain age.
But it was no Mission: Impossible for Tom Cruise who turns 60 tomorrow.
He was snapped partying in the VIP Lounge when the Rolling Stones played American
Express Presents BST Hyde Park... and then returned just 24 hours later for The Eagles.
Yet while he’s flying high in Top Gun: Maverick, the ever-congenial Cruise was far more grounded in reality – as he personally thanked each staff member and even stopped for chats at all the nearby food trucks.
Tom Schmooze and his
Top Gun manners were invited back for Adele this weekend.
But he’s being so down to earth of late, he’s probably offered to work the cocktail bar.
Elsewhere, it was a case of Three (good) Men and a Baby when it came to showbiz males this week.
Nice guy Chris Martin stopped off at a boozer on his way home from Glasto and serenaded a newly-engaged couple.
And Cod-acabana singer (sorry) Barry Manilow popped in for fish and chips at a Birmingham roadside pub and ended up charming the, um, whole plaice (ahem).
As for the baby? Well, that was the too-posh-for-posh, three-michelin-starred chef Dani García, who publicly shamed Victoria Beckham for requesting a vegetable dish, some mints and some hand gel at a wedding he catered.
“It was complicated giving Victoria her menu,” he moaned.
Complicated?! He’s got more Michelin stars than Ratatouille. I could burn a Pot Noodle.
But even I can stick a few Trebor Extra Strong Mints in a bowl... without throwing my toys out of the pram.
