Baby kept in council care

Downton stars’ period romance

-

A BABY boy whose dad backs using “harmful alternative medication” should be taken into council care, a family court judge ruled.

The man had sold Master Mineral Solution to treat cancer and autism, said social services staff.

The staff said MMS is as strong as industrial bleach and they feared the baby might ingest it. The baby, now eight months, has been in care virtually since birth.

Judge Helen Black told the hearing in Portsmouth, Hants: “The parents have abandoned him.” DOWNTON Abbey stars Laura Carmichael and Michael Fox make their first public appearance as a couple – a year after they started dating.

Laura, 30, who played Lady Edith Crawley in the ITV hit, and Michael, 27, who was servant Andrew Parke, stepped out to support castmate Lily James, 27. The Lady Rose actress was named the face of Burberry’s new scent at the firm’s Regent Street store – and went with her own beau, former Dr Who star Matt Smith, 33.
