PETER CROUCH hit a hat-trick as Stoke cruised past Stevenage 4-0.

Goals from Crouch (below) and Phil Bardsley gave the Potters a 2-0 half-time lead and Crouch got a third early in the second half before sealing his treble.

Jay Fulton’s strike and a double in three minutes from Oliver McBurnie gave Swansea a 3-0 half-time lead at Peterborou­gh. Leonardo Da Silva Lopes got one back.

Kyle Lafferty set Norwich on the road to a 6-1 thumping of Coventry, with Sergi Tenes making it 2-0 by half-time. Ruben Lameiras pulled one back from the spot but Russell Martin and Jacob Murphy quickly added two more. Tenes and Ben Godfrey wrapped it up late on.

Sam Adekugbe got Brighton off to a flier at Oxford with a goal in two minutes. Wes Thomas levelled but Brighton cruised in the second half, going ahead 4-1 with Kazenga LuaLua, Elvis Manu and Tomer Hemed. Dan Crowley made it 4-2.
