ANDRE GRAY could be hit with a ban after posting a number of offensive tweets FOUR years ago.

The striker was charged with misconduct for his homophobic comments plus messages that also made reference to race. They were sent while playing for non-League Hinckley.

They came to light on Saturday not long after Gray scored his first Premier League goal to help Burnley to a 2-0 win over Liverpool. He apologised on Saturday night but may still be hit with a ban or fine.
