PM off target on migration

PEOPLE do not believe Theresa May will meet her target on immigration even after Britain leaves the EU.

A survey for think-tank British Future found only 37% believe the target of tens of thousands a year net will be met. Stats out today show the present net figure remains around 300,000.

Director Sunder Katwala said: “Trust in Government’s competence to manage migration is at rock bottom.”
