Scammers in Apple attack

CONMEN are targeting Apple customers with bogus account notification emails.

The messages claim an iTunes purchase or subscription to Netflix was made from their Apple account.

The victim is asked to confirm the purchase or follow a link if the details are incorrect – and give bank details for a refund.

The emails are convincing, containing both the Apple logo and a font similar to the one used by the tech giant.

But Apple said it will never ask for personal or financial details via email.
