EpiPen chief pay up 671%

THE boss of a firm that in­creased the price of life­sav­ing EpiPens five­fold has re­ceived a 671% pay rise.

Heather Bresch’s wages leapt from £1.8mil­lion to £14.3mil­lion as the cost of My­lan’s al­lergy drug rose.

Ms Bresch, pres­i­dent of the US firm in 2007 then CEO, got her raise over nine years. She faces a Congress hear­ing over the pens, £49.99 each in the UK but said to cost a few dol­lars to make.
