EpiPen chief pay up 671%
THE boss of a firm that increased the price of lifesaving EpiPens fivefold has received a 671% pay rise.
Heather Bresch’s wages leapt from £1.8million to £14.3million as the cost of Mylan’s allergy drug rose.
Ms Bresch, president of the US firm in 2007 then CEO, got her raise over nine years. She faces a Congress hearing over the pens, £49.99 each in the UK but said to cost a few dollars to make.
