This could be music to the ears of EE customers.
The mobile phone giant is offering six months’ free membership to Apple Music’s streaming service to new and renewing customers.
It costs £9.99 a month after that, although customers can cancel before the charges kick in.
EE, now part of telecoms giant BT, has hired pop star Britney Spears to appear alongside Hollywood actor Kevin Bacon in a big-bucks TV ad to plug the Apple offer.
EE boss Marc Allera said: “On average, our customers commute 60-90 minutes a day and that’s when we see spikes in streaming.”
