Look at Hull. They’ve got 13 players, but they’ve still won all their games, and shown the spirit needed to keep winning. In Spain a side in that position would have been a rollover, but not in England.

There are so many sides who are spirited, tenacious and can grind out results that the top teams have to match them. Guardiola may have a reputation for being a theorist, but in practice, he will adapt, and I think he has a fresh squad with hungry players like Sane and Gabriel Jesus to come strong in the second half of the season and pip Manchester United.
