Teen held on carjack rap
DETECTIVES probing a carjacking that targeted a heavily pregnant woman have arrested a 15-year-old.
The boy was charged with robbery and possession of CS spray after police seized two firearms and suspected stolen property at his home in Small Heath, Birmingham.
The victim was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
A WOMAN suspected of killing North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un’s halfbrother said that she was paid £80 for the poison attack, which she thought was a video prank.
Siti Aishah was offered the cash by a “mysterious stranger” in the Kuala Lumpur nightclub where she worked, it was claimed yesterday.
Aishah, 25, and Doan Thi Huong, 29 – the woman seen in a LOL T-shirt on CCTV – were reportedly duped into killing Kim Jong-nam by North Korean agents.
The women were approached by a man who introduced Thi Huong to four male accomplices, Malaysian media reported. Aishah, from Indonesia, only got involved when Thi Huong was asked by the man to find a partner for the “prank video”.
Both women remain in custody, as does Aishah’s Malaysian boyfriend Muhammad Farid Bin Jalaluddin, 26. Police say they are still hunting four men. Jong-nam, 45, died after what is believed to be a poisonimpregnated handkerchief was put over his face at Kuala Lumpur airport on Monday. He staggered to a counter and uttered his last words, telling staff: “Very painful, very painful, I was sprayed liquid.” Intelligence agencies in South Korea and the US insist it was a “hit” instigated by Kim Jong-un to strengthen his rule. Last night his regime said it will “categorically reject” the findings of the postmortem, held this week. Prior to the attack, it’s said Thi Huong, who had a Vietnamese passport, stayed in cheap hotels, carried a wad of cash and cut her own hair a day before the murder. Sources claim her behaviour had all the hallmarks of an intelligence operative. “That is how they work,” said one private investigator. “Change of appearance, cash transactions, no paper trail, constantly on the move.” Mum-of-one Aishah had lived in a slum area of Jakarta and worked as a seamstress before moving to Malaysia to find work.
