‘I am the WhatsApp thrill killer’
Second body found in blazing flat
A TEENAGER suspected of murdering a boy of nine and then posting sickening images on WhatsApp is believed to have confessed to police.
Another body was found in a burntout flat near the spot where Marcel Hesse gave himself up.
The 19-year-old allegedly lured his neighbours’ son – named only as Jaden – to his cellar and stabbed him 56 times.
On Monday he apparently put up harrowing pictures of him brandishing a knife and boasted: “People die slowly when you slaughter them.”
The martial arts fanatic then hid for four days near the murder scene in Herne, Germany. He is alleged to have posted other messages, including claims he murdered someone else.
Hesse surrendered to cops on Thursday evening after walking into a takeaway and telling staff: “I am Marcel.
“Look on your tablet. I am the man they are looking for.”
Police then searched the flat and found the second body. Hesse reportedly confessed to hiding there.
A neighbour said it was home to a young man who lived alone. Police took away a bloody mattress.
The images shared on WhatsApp were later put on the secretive dark web.
In a chat room posting Hesse allegedly wrote: “I have cut myself in the hand as I fought the 120kg beast” – an apparent reference to a second suspected murder.
Another message read: “I just killed the neighbour’s child, doesn’t feel bad tbh, my hand bleeds lil’. I wanted to get a girl in here so I can rape her.” Jaden’s mum Jeanette, 41, said Hesse’s family had warned he was “an absolute psycho”.
Police fear he may have killed others. He appeared to boast online of torturing a woman to get her bank details.
