THE GLOVES ARE OFF

Let’s hope John Torode and Gregg Wallace aren’t stuck doing the dishes when the new series of MasterChef kicks off this week.

The search is on once again for the country’s best amateur cook as the pair meet 64 new hopefuls, including a tiler, an architect, a surgeon and a musican.

They are all vying to be the 13th champion when MasterChef returns on Wednesday at 8pm on BBC One.
