Give ’em hell, Chelle

Reading what Michelle Collins has to say on the subject of ‘silver spoon’ actors freezing out working-class kids (Mirror, March 22), I can understand her point.

Michelle, Barbara Windsor, David Jason and many more from yesteryear were working class but still managed to break into acting.

There are so many gifted youngsters out there who need the chance to become household names in the acting world and they all deserve opportunities. Well done to Michelle for pointing this out. Roberta Jones, South Benfleet, Essex
