CONOR GETS ROBINS FLYING

-

SWINDON 1 MILLWALL 0 LEAGUE ONE

LUKE WILLIAMS insisted Conor Thomas’ stoppage-time winner for Swindon was just reward for his hard graft this season.

The Robins midfielder, who only started because Ben Gladwin was injured in the warm up, got his first goal this term to boost his side’s survival hopes. And head coach Williams (right) said: “He’s in early every day, he looks after himself fantastically well and he so deserves that goal. I’m so pleased for him.”

Millwall boss Neil Harris slammed the performance of his team, who travel to leaders Sheffield United tomorrow.

He said: “We’ve lost one in 17 now, but this is not acceptable if we want to make the play-offs.”
