EMMERDALE

ITV, 7pm Harriet may have been touched by Cain’s sensitivity when he comforted her in the vestry after yesterday’s funeral.

But when he appears back in the church today, Harriet is suspicious. She’s shocked to find out that he’s using the sacred building to stash his ill-gotten gains. Cain knows he’s going to have to take drastic action to distract her – can he silence her with a kiss?

CORONATION STREET

ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm Michelle is at one of life’s crossroads. On the one hand, she has Steve pleading to give marriage counselling a go, and on the other, there is Robert, offering her a new job and perhaps a new life. Where does her heart lie – and will she be brave enough to follow it?

Later, Gary furiously confronts David and points out that while he’s enjoying his new wealth thanks to his windfall, Anna and Kevin are facing bankruptcy. EASTENDERS

BBC1, 8pm Good old Dot and her unwavering faith in Christianity. The well-intentioned pensioner is eager to ensure Amy and Ricky understand the significance of Good Friday, and that this holy weekend is not just about fluffy bunnies and scoffing chocolate eggs.

But her lesson on the real meaning of Easter backfires when it leads to some awkward questions about Ronnie and Roxy.

Elsewhere, as Whitney prepares for a girls’ night out, it’s clear Lauren’s got something (or someone) else on her mind.
