MARCEL DESAILLY has warned Jose Mourinho will be at “boiling” point tomorrow, after Chelsea fans branded him “Judas”.

Saviours and resurrecti­ons are fashionabl­e at this time of year and Mourinho, who fancies himself a messiah and presiding over a revival at Manchester United, would love to let the tyres down on his old club’s title procession.

But the Special One has lost twice at Stamford Bridge this season, and his ego was dented by the turncoat taunts of his estranged flock in United’s FA Cup quarter-final defeat.

The Portuguese held up three fingers, one for each title he won at Chelsea, in response to the barbs of “You’re not special any more” and snorted, “Judas is still No.1” – implying he remains the club’s greatestev­er manager.

And French World Cup winner Desailly, a rock in Chelsea’s defence either side of the millennium, says you can bet 30 pieces of silver that if United’s manager rolls out the red carpet for the championse­lect, it will only be in the hope of tripping them up.

Desailly, who spent six seasons with the Blues, finishing runners-up to Arsenal’s Invincible­s in 2004, said: “You only have to see how Mourinho reacted the last time he went to Stamford Bridge towards the fans.

“He will be really boiling for this game. He was very hurt by their provocatio­n – I know this from good sources. “Mourinho will want to show that his commitment to his new club is absolute, that he is still a winner, and that he can bring Manchester United to the same level he reached with Chelsea. “He has the perfect motivation – to block Chelsea from winning the title and to secure United’s path into the Champions League next season. So far he has won the League Cup, but that is not enough to restore the prestige of such a famous club.

“We don’t know who is going to be at United again next season and that may depend on whether they finish in the top four.”

Desailly (left) is much less encouraged, however, about Mourinho’s prospects of bringing Antoine Griezmann to Old Trafford this summer.
