Adams debut a Gran-d disaster

-

Jose Mourinho has now recorded at least one league victory against all 34 Premier League clubs that he’s faced as a manager in this country Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has scored in consecutive Premier League games for the first time since September Ander Herrera scored and assisted in the same Premier League game for Man Utd for the first time since October 2015 versus Everton Rashford’s goal was the earliest Chelsea had conceded in the Premier League since December 2013 (Skrtel in the third minute for Liverpool) This was Chelsea’s first defeat in nine Premier League games versus Manchester United (W4 D4 L1), last losing to them back in October 2012 Manchester United’s Premier League unbeaten run now stands at 22 matches (W12 D10 L0), the longest within a single season by a team since United in 2010/11 (24) JACK WILSHERE has been defended by Bournemouth team-mate Steve Cook after Tottenham fans cheered the midfielder’s injury on Saturday.

The 25-year-old, on loan from Arsenal, suffered an ankle knock in the second half of the Cherries’ 4-0 defeat at White Hart Lane. He will undergo scans today.

As Wilshere went down, Spurs fans cheered, and Cook said: “There’s obviously no love lost between Arsenal and Tottenham, or between Jack and Tottenham fans, but it’s not nice.”

Wilshere was himself reprimanded by Arsenal for leading songs describing Spurs as “s**t” as the club celebrated winning the FA Cup two years ago.

But Cook (right) still believes the reaction from the White Hart Lane faithful went too far.

He said: “Jack’s a professional and, whatever’s happened in the past, no one likes to see that sort of reaction to a player getting injured.

“That’s the game. But, for me, it’s disappointing.

“Whatever the outcome is, we’ll rally round. We’ll need him for these last five games. Hopefully it’s good news and everybody can move on.”

Wilshere left the north London stadium on crutches and wearing a protective boot.

He remained in the capital as the club had a day off yesterday and will be assessed by the Cherries’ medical staff when he returns.

Cook added: “It didn’t look good, I don’t know. We hope it’s good news.’’ TONY ADAMS’ reign as Granada boss got off to a miserable start as his relegation-threatened side lost 3-0 at home to Celta Vigo.

The Arsenal legend, in charge until the end of the season, saw his team fall behind midway through the first half to a Jozabed Sanchez strike.

Marcelo Diaz doubled the visitors’ advantage in the 73rd minute and Claudio Beauvue put the outcome beyond doubt three minutes later.

Granada are second bottom of La Liga, seven points from safety with only six games left.
