Eagle attack fan does bird
THE Charlton Athletic fan who threw a punch at Crystal Palace’s eagle mascot was jailed yesterday.
Hooligan Daniel Boylett, 36, targeted American bald eagle Kayla during a violent cup tie at Selhurst Park in September, 2015.
Boylett, of Eltham, South East London, was found guilty of attempted criminal damage and disorder at Croydon crown court.
He was sentenced to 21 months and banned from games for six years.
