Hit plot killer loses appeal
A JEALOUS ex who paid hitmen £500 each to kill a love rival has lost an appeal against a life sentence.
Luigi Dalli, 47, was found guilty of plotting to kill Kurt Crawford after he started dating his ex.
Mr Crawford survived with injuries in 2015. Dalli, 47, of Salford, Greater Manchester, got life with a minimum 15 years. The two hitmen got the same.
The Court of Appeal said Dalli’s bid for a reduced sentence “had no merit”.
