Fury bid to kill himself

TYSON FURY admits he tried to commit suicide as he battled his demons after becoming heavyweight world champion.

He dethroned Wladimir Klitschko 18 months ago but quickly descended into a downward spiral.

In a letter to fans, he said: “I woke in the morning sad I didn’t pass away in the night. I hit the drink and drugs trying to find a way out.

“But with the help of God I have made a massive turnaround. I am back training on a mission to put the record straight.” Fury (above), who was stripped of one world title and relinquished his others, faces a hearing into a failed drug test next month.
