WE WILL DRAG YOU INTO HULL OF A DOG FIGHT

-

MARCO SILVA believes Hull can drag Crystal Palace back into the relegation zone.

Palace are on the fringes of the survival scrap and Silva says Hull intend to pull them right into it when they clash at Selhurst Park.

The Tigers boss says Sam Allardyce’s men now have to show they are up for the fight.

“Three or four weeks ago, everybody thought it was between us, Swansea and Middlesbrough,” said Silva. “Nobody put Crystal Palace in this fight.

“They are in a better position than us, but they keep on fighting and they need to do something to be safe, like we do.

“Now it’s a fight between the three clubs. When we were out of the bottom three, I said the same thing that it would be a fight until the end. We will fight. I believe in us. These are like finals and the next game is important. It’s also important for our opponents.”

Silva admits Hull must beat Palace and a Tottenham side inspired by the goals of Harry Kane (below) on the final day after last Saturday’s devastating home defeat by Sunderland.

That loss, coupled with Swansea’s win, dropped the Tigers back into the bottom three and Silva hopes for one final twist in the relegation fight.

“It’s possible,” said the Portuguese. “Last Saturday was a twist and it’s possible always.

“It’s important for us that we don’t change anything. We look to our work and the next game is most important to us.

“We will play it like a final then see what happens next week.”

Silva has spoken to his players about why they froze against Sunderland.

“It was not easy in the dressing room after the match,” he added. “We talked about it, we analysed it and the players have worked

hard.”
