Connery hails his fun-filled friend

-

SIR Sean Connery says will miss the fun times he had with Sir Roger Moore.

The original big screen James Bond, 86, said: “We had an unusually long relationship by Hollywood standards, that was filled with jokes and laughter.”

In a reference to the theme song of Sir Roger’s The Spy Who Loved Me movie, current 007 Daniel Craig posted: “Nobody Does It Better.” Pierce Brosnan – who, like Craig, starred as the spy four times – said: “You were a magnificent James Bond and one that led the way for me. The world will miss you and your unique sense of humour.”

Sir Roger submitted the manuscript for his latest, as yet untitled, book just two weeks before his death.
