EVERTON ASK £50M FOR ROSS
EVERTON have reached the end of the line in contract talks with Ross Barkley. And that means the Blues will now consider offers for the England international midfielder. Barkley (left) has made clear he will not accept the £100,000-aweek contract offer that would have made him the highest earner in Goodison history. The 23-year-old has dragged his feet over the new five-year contract and his advisors yesterday indicated there would be no 11th-hour acceptance. Premier League rivals Tottenham and Manchester United fancy the Scouse playmaker, for whom Everton will demand £50million.
