A SHOT IN THE FARKE, CANARIES

-

NORWICH have appointed Jurgen Klopp clone Daniel Farke as their new head coach. German-born Farke, the under-23 manager at Klopp’s old team Borussia Dortmund, has been handed a two-year contract by the Canaries. Farke, 40, was handpicked by new Norwich sports director Stuart Webber, the man who took Klopp’s old Dortmund No.2 David Wagner to Huddersfield. Webber said: “Germany has a fantastic record for producing great coaches and Daniel is a really good fit.” Farke (above) said: “I had a good time at Dortmund but the more I know about Norwich, the more excited I get.”
