Sharon, me and our little Mix fix

And there’s me thinking I was the only five-year-old who raided the Pick ’n’ Mix section in my much-loved local Woolworths. It turns out it was one of the highlights of Sharon Osbourne’s young life too, even though we used different methods of daylight robbery. Her trick was to employ her brother to distract sales assistants as she swiped her haul, while I brazenly acted alone – a cool, calm primary school criminal. I’ve always felt slightly guilty that I might have, in some small way, contributed to Woolies’ eventual downfall in 2008. Little did I know that, all along, I had an accomplice.
