Even at a tad over 23ft long and more that 10ft high it was still easy to drive, once we got used to the bouncy suspension. You’re not supposed to go over 90kph/56mph in a camper (it’s 100/62 for everyone else), so you’re unlikely to have a speed wobble. It had a great little kitchen – four burners, a grill, fridge and sink – as well as a shower and loo. If you don’t fancy emptying the tanks as you go (although it’s pretty straightforward) all the campsites have full bathrooms (with hot showers!) and kitchens. Tasman Sea Pacific Ocean
