Elderly voters are worried about the Tory plans for social care.

After a lifetime of contributi­ng what various government­s have required of them, they are now faced with an uncertain future.

No one should be burdened with these concerns. The only way of dealing with this is to abandon any previous political preference­s and support Labour in ousting this selfish, uncaring lot.

It would seem we are, via the Saudis, financing are own terror.

I’m so sad about the innocent victims of the Manchester atrocity, and I send my sincere condolence­s to all affected. However, it was heartwarmi­ng to see the two homeless men who helped the victims, get the appreciati­on they deserve.

With regard to your story on contactles­s payments overtaking cash next year (Mirror, May 26), I personally don’t agree with them.

It’s too easy for people to get your money if they steal your card.
