JJB FIRED BY HORROR YEAR

-

Widnes v Leeds KO 3pm JAMIE JONES-BUCHANAN reckons Leeds’ revival this year has been built on the disappointments of 2016.

The Rhinos went from Treble winners to the bottom four last season, and had to preserve their Super League status with an unbeaten Qualifiers campaign.

But they are back among the competition front-runners, especially after Friday’s 40-0 demolition of Warrington.

Jones-Buchanan (above) said: “This is rooted in last year. The lads have been working hard. You’re starting to see signs of this team becoming something special.”
