Jezza guards thwart raider

JEREMY Corbyn’s personal bodyguards thwarted a would-be robber who is thought to have been armed with a knife.

The incident unfolded after the Labour leader had finished campaigning in Hackney, East London, on Saturday.

But his armed protection officers, who are by Mr Corbyn’s side whenever he appears at official events, were still nearby.

They intervened and prevented the robbery, a source said.
