Poldark hunk Aidan Turner’s body wasn’t as ripped at the start of the third series as many expected – especially the wardrobe department.

“I showed up a few pounds too heavy and they had to split the back of the waistcoat… It was too tight around here,” he says, gesturing to his stomach. “And not tight enough up here,” he adds, pointing a bit higher. Meanwhile, the BBC star, 33, says he “hates” Strictly Come Dancing.

Aidan, who competed as an amateur, told Radio Times the BBC series is “not about dancing... the dancing is rubbish”.
