all shared in the emotion and sheer shock of what happened in Manchester last week and the city’s two football clubs got the tone just right in everything they said and did in the aftermath. Sometimes in sad situations there’s a temptation to go over the top, but both clubs showed themselves to be completely in touch with their community. Everything United did in the Europa League final in Stockholm helped a great British city celebrate a victory, while remembering those who lost their lives back home.
