Ear horror attacker faces long stretch
A KILLER faces a lengthy sentence after biting off part of a man’s ear – and waving it around.
Ruben White, who has a previous conviction for manslaughter, left Ian Hayward, 28, needing plastic surgery after holding him face down on a car bonnet and tearing off a chunk of his ear.
White, of Gillingham, Kent, then held it up, saying: “I have got a bit of your f***ing ear.”
At Maidstone crown court he denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, but was convicted with Liam Hudson, 28. The pair were also convicted of affray, along with Hudson’s partner Amelia Waters, 27, which all three had denied.
Judge Philip Statman said: “It is going to be long sentences one way or the other.”
The violence erupted on November 2 last year over a previous road rage incident.
