Oz travel ban for perverts

PAEDOPHILES would be denied passports in the world’s first ban of its kind proposed in Australia.

It would bar the movement of the 800 registered sex offenders who were able to travel overseas from the country last year.

Justice Minister Michael Keenan said it would affect 20,000 offenders who had completed punishment but were still monitored.

He said it would “stop citizens from going overseas, often to vulnerable countries, to abuse kids”.
