Weeding out memory loss
ADDING tobacco can cut the risk of memory loss when smoking cannabis, scientists have revealed.
Combining the drugs did not change the experience of getting stoned, the study by University College London found.
But it did lead to higher heart rates, possibly raising the cardiovascular risk.
Researcher Dr Tom Freeman said tobacco “can reduce unpleasant effects” – but people who add it are often addicted to tobacco after quitting cannabis.
