THIRD OF MEN PUNCH ABOVE THEIR WEIGHT

- BY MATTHEW YOUNG mirrornews@mirror.co.uk

ONE in three blokes believe their partner is out of their league.

A poll found a quarter have actually been told by pals, colleagues and even their parents that their other half is better looking – and one in 10 have even been stung by remarks from strangers. However, just one in five women think they are punching above their weight.

A third of men rate looks the most important thing in a partner, against a quarter of women.

A poll to mark Comedy Central’s new game show Your Face or Mine, also found one in seven of us have stayed with someone longer than we wanted to because they were good-looking – rising to one in five for men.

A Comedy Central spokesman said: “Not all relationships are evenly matched in the looks department. But as we found in Your Face or Mine, it’s not only men who admit their partner is in a league above them.”

Your Face or Mine, hosted by Jimmy Carr, continues tonight at 8pm.
