Mum’s guilt after she survived and her best pal died
A MUM injured in the Manchester Arena suicide attack has spoken of her guilt after her best friend was killed.
Caroline Davis Osborne, 39, says she cannot stop crying since losing Wendy Fawell.
Both pals, from Otley, West Yorks, were in the foyer after the Ariana Grande concert, waiting to collect their children.
Wendy, 50, died, and Caroline, who got shrapnel wounds and a dislocated shoulder, felt guilty as she had bought the tickets.
She said: “We were laughing and giggling. Next thing I remember was waking up. There were bodies all over. Someone was asking if I could sit up. My arm hurt. I was screaming for Wendy.”
