Court ruling lets baby live

SUPREME Court justices yesterday stopped doctors removing life support from a gravely ill baby boy.

Nine-month-old Charlie Gard’s life support was reportedly set to be turned off at midnight last night.

But the Supreme Court ruled treatment must continue until it considers the case on June 8.

Charlie has a rare genetic disorder and his parents are fighting to take him to the US for therapy treatment, which doctors here are opposed to.
