HEAVY LIFT

Fiat is launching a new generation of its 500L that it claims contains 40% new parts. That’s a big percentage but Fiat only mentions revised front and rear bumpers, a new grille and different lights in its list of changes. Plus changes to the instruments and interior.

An odd car the 500L. It is so big and heavy looking that it’s hard to believe that it’s related to the cute 500. We’ve owned several 500s but wouldn’t consider the far-from-cute L. The new car goes on sale in September.
