SANTI CAZORLA could miss a big chunk of next season amid concerns over his future in the game.

Cazorla told Spanish radio he hopes to return in October, but also admitted he has thought about quitting after EIGHT operations.

Arsenal originally feared his Achilles problem could spell the end of his career, but he has since been on a long rehabilitation programme.

Cazorla (above), 32, said: “You feel like throwing in the towel but my desire to play is above everything.

“I haven’t got a time frame but doubt I’ll return before five months.”
