Walk to work rare for most

FEWER than one in seven people walk to work and two-thirds lose up to 16 days a year on commuting.

Two out of five travel for up to two hours a day, jobs site CV-Library found. Of 1,200 people surveyed, 14% walked, with most saying they would reject a job requiring a longer journey.
