World is to start selling TVs and fridges in Tesco.

Owner Dixons Carphone is to open concessions in two Tesco Extra stores – Milton Keynes and Northampton – this summer. The “tailored” range will also include laptops and SIM-only mobile phones.

The tie-up is part of Tesco’s plans to sub-let excess space.
