Airport terror: Tourists flee 2 hour guns & bombs attack
DOZENS of tourists were caught in a ISIS terrorist attack at a hotel near Manila Airport last night.
Witnesses told of a two-hour onslaught of gunfire and explosions at the Resorts World Manila, across the road from one of the terminals.
It left a number of people injured and led to a lockdown of the complex. Firefighters and a Philippines SWAT team tackled the incident.
Kara Verano hid in a restaurant storeroom to escape the violence. She said: “We heard gunshots.
“Other customers said there were men coming out of the casino wearing masks and armed.
“We got stuck in the storage room for almost two hours with continuous gunshots coming from outside and [the] smell [of] something burning.”
ISIS claimed its “lone wolf ” soldiers were responsible. The Foreign Office last night changed their travel advice, advising Britons to stay away.
