Tiger victim Rosa ‘living her dream’
THE parents of tragic zookeeper Rosa King said the job “meant the world to her” and she had been “living her dream”.
Peter and Andrea King said: “She had a care and understanding of her animals that was a joy and privilege to behold.
“Rosa was passionate about animals from the age of two when she first sat on the back of a horse.”
Their daughter, 33, was mauled to death on Monday when a tiger got into the enclosure where she was working.
Forensic teams were still combing Hamerton Park Zoo, near Huntingdon, Cambs, yesterday for clues to how it happened.
The zoo earlier this week called it a “freak accident”. Police and the district council are investigating.
